Rural Workforce Program

Request for Proposals

The Michigan Oral Health Coalition is launching a new initiative to help address oral health workforce shortages in rural Michigan, and we are seeking experienced professionals and organizations to help bring it to life.

The Rural Dental Hygienist Re-Entry and Continuing Education Program will support dental hygienists who have stepped away from clinical practice, reduced their hours or want to refresh their skills as they return to or expand patient care in rural communities. The program combines online coursework, hands-on clinical training and ongoing cohort support to help participants successfully transition into clinical practice.

Each RFP describes the scope of work, qualifications, compensation and how to apply.

Key dates:

  • Questions due: Monday, Nov. 9, by noon ET
  • Proposals due: Monday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. ET

We encourage qualified individuals and organizations to review these opportunities and consider submitting a proposal.

Please send questions about any of the RFPs to:
