The 2030 Michigan State Oral Health Plan serves as a strategic roadmap to guide collaborative action to improve oral health across Michigan over the next five years. Developed through a partnership between the Michigan Oral Health Coalition (MOHC), the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), and stakeholders from across the state, the plan reflects extensive input from providers, policymakers, community organizations, and public health leaders. Rather than serving only as a report on the state of oral health, the 2030 plan outlines clear priorities and actionable strategies to expand access to care, strengthen the oral health workforce, integrate oral health into whole-person care, advance prevention and education, and modernize policy and payment systems. Through coordinated efforts across sectors, this plan provides a shared framework to ensure that every Michigander has the opportunity to achieve optimal oral health.
